Findings from the BVDW Convention — Our CEO discusses the future of generative AI

Recently, our CEO Sebastian shared his insights at the panel “The Future of Technology Infrastructure: Innovations and Market Trends” at the BVDW Convention.

The event provided a platform to examine the current challenges and opportunities in technology infrastructure from various perspectives, with a particular focus on the transformative impact of AI.

The most important findings are:

  • The operating costs of large language models (LLMs) are often underestimated, but can be estimated early on, which simplifies profitability analysis.
  • Generative AI needs a well-thought-out strategy to fully exploit its potential. Isolated solutions result in higher costs.
  • The most important trend in 2024 will probably be the spread of intelligent agents, on which GPT-5 is to be based.
  • The effects of generative AI develop in complex processes along the value chain and are not limited to individual areas of application.

We are pleased that our CEO Sebastian received an invitation to the conference and was able to talk about Perelyn's work in Generative AI.
