Perelyn at DACH+HOLZ International 2026
Every two years, DACH+HOLZ International brings together the key players in roofing and timber construction. From February 24 to 27, roofers, carpenters, planners, and technology providers gathered in Cologne – with digitalisation and AI among the central themes.
Michael Banf was there for Perelyn. The question on his mind: Where do the interfaces to data-driven methods emerge in an industry rooted in craftsmanship?
The conversations showed that the interest is concrete. Less in language models, more in tangible improvements – in planning, material management, and process optimisation. Exactly the kind of questions we work on at Perelyn.

The proceedings from the "AI in Production" workshop at KI2025 have been published. Among the contributions is a paper by our team on the use of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in industrial production environments.

Dominik Filipiak and Michael Banf are co-authors of a community paper on the 2025 Topological Deep Learning Challenge, published in the Proceedings of Machine Learning Research. Their contributions feed into TopoBench, an open benchmarking library for the research community.
